TimelinesAI subscriptions - Seats, Team members, and WhatsApp accounts

Learn the differences between seats, team members, and WhatsApp accounts, and how they work within our plans.

TimelinesAI provides three main plans: The CRM Integration Plan starts at $25 per seat per month, the Shared Inbox Plan at $40 per seat per month, and the Mass Messaging Plan includes additional credits for $40 per 1,000 credits.

  • CRM Integration

  • Shared Inbox

  • Mass Messaging

They differ in features, but all of them are based on seats, with pricing starting at $20 per seat per month when billed annually.

  • The number of seats under one of our plans determines how many team members and WhatsApp accounts you'll be able to connect in your workspace.

  • In the image below, the Team Member can choose if they want to connect a WhatsApp account or not, depending on your workspace needs.

What are seats?

These define how many team members (such as associates, agents, representatives, or users) you can add to your workspace. You can think of them as individual licenses that allow access to your workspace and enable collaboration within TimelinesAI.

The cost is based on your selected plan. For example, the CRM Integration Plan costs $25 per seat per month on a monthly subscription or $20 per seat per month when billed annually.

For example, if you want to add 3 team members, you will need 3 seats. The total price is calculated by multiplying the number of seats by the price of the chosen plan.

A seat is consumed by each team member and by each connected WhatsApp number, whether that number is connected by QR or by WABA / Coexistence.

So a second team member is a second seat even if they never connect a number — and connecting the same number via both QR and WABA consumes two seats, because that is two connections.

Team members and WhatsApp accounts:

Each team member can connect one WhatsApp account at a time. Because seats are consumed by team members and by connected numbers alike, the seat count you need is driven by whichever of the two is larger.

  • 3 numbers, each connected by a different person — 3 seats.

  • 1 number shared by 3 people — 3 seats, because each team member needs their own seat.

  • 1 person, 1 number connected via both QR and WABA — 2 seats, because that is two separate connections.

If you downgrade to fewer seats than you have connected numbers, TimelinesAI automatically disables the excess numbers (QR and WABA alike). A disabled number is not deleted and nothing is lost — re-enable it after adding seats back.

Additionally, each seat on the Shared Inbox Plan includes 500 mass messaging credits, and extra credits can be purchased at $40 per 1,000 credits.

For the usual CRM + API setup, the CRM Integration plan is the right starting point. Seat behaviour specific to WABA numbers is covered in WABA integration — Seats and connection limits.
