How to hide contacts' phone numbers from the team
TimelinesAI allows workspace owners to hide WhatsApp contact numbers from non-admin team members.
This helps to protect the privacy of your WhatsApp contacts even within your team.
To start hiding phone numbers:
Open Subscription > General Settings ( direct link: https://app.timelines.ai/account/settings/general/ )
Check the "Hide phone numbers" box
Click "Update:
If "Hide phone numbers" is enabled, contacts' numbers will be hidden from non-admin team members throughout the whole workspace.
Non-admin team members are all users except the workspace Owner and users with an Admin role
Whenever required the randomly generated ID will replace the number. In all other cases the phone number will be invisible completely.
Example: of the same chat as seen by the admin (in blue) and non-admin (in red) users:

Answer: The Hide Phone Numbers feature is available only on Shared Inbox and Mass Messaging plans. Consider upgrading to one of those plans.
Will phone numbers be hidden even for those contacts that come from my own connected WhatsApp number?
Answer: That is correct. If you are NOT a workspace owner or user with Admin rights and you connect your own WhatsApp account, you will not see the contact's numbers even for those contacts that were synced from the WhatsApp account that belong to you.
Will phone numbers be hidden from mass messaging campaign reports?
Answer: "Hide phone numbers" feature is supported by Mass Messaging reports. If you are NOT a workspace owner or user with admin rights phone numbers will be hidden from mass messaging reports. Example of a report you will see:
