Disable WhatsApp Messages from Creating an Activity in your Pipedrive Calendar

When synchronized messages show up as new activities within your Pipedrive Calendar, you may notice that, after some time, the calendar gets cluttered with WhatsApp chat activities.

Why does this happen?


Syncing Activities into the Pipedrive Calendar is a Pipedrive feature, not a TimelinesAI one. If you disable it, activities won't show up in your calendar. But it's worth mentioning that this must be set per Pipedrive user.

Solution


All Pipedrive users in your organization should disable this, within the Pipedrive settings. To do so, please refer to the following steps:

On Pipedrive, click on your profile picture, at the top-right corner of your screen
Click on "Personal Preferences"
Then, proceed to "Calendar Sync"
You'll need to select an account, in order to apply the changes. You may click on the "Add Account" button or, "Reconnect"; if the account was connected before
Within the list of activities that are syncing to your Pipedrive Calendar, deselect the "Whatsapp chat" checkbox:
