ChatGPT integration not working

Your ChatGPT integration is not working on TimelinesAI? Don't worry – this troubleshooting guide will help you identify and resolve common issues affecting your integration.

provide the following details via Chat Support, at the bottom-right corner of your screen:

To troubleshoot the issue yourself



Make sure that ChatGPT is configured at https://app.timelines.ai/chatgpt/settings/ :

Correct API key is used. The key should be the same as at https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys

The Prompt is not empty and understandable

"Activate ChatGPT" box is checked
Make sure ChatGPT is enabled for relevant WhatsApp numbers at https://app.timelines.ai/whatsapp/all
Check the log file from https://app.timelines.ai/chatgpt/settings/ to trace any issues
Check API key settings at https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys

API key here must be the same as at https://app.timelines.ai/chatgpt/settings/

"Last Used" date should not be "Never". The unused key indicates issues with your OpenAI account and/or a mismatch with a key used in the TimelinesAI workspace
Check API key usage data at https://platform.openai.com/account/usage

There should not be any usage warning on this page. Examples of warning messages:

Make sure the "Enable ChatGPT autoresponse" is ON within the chat details page.
The disabled setting will be red. The enabled setting will be in green. Example of correct setup:

Starting over



To exclude the possibility of a mismatch between API Keys in the Open AI account and the TimelinesAI workspace:

Create a new key at https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys
Paste the new key at https://app.timelines.ai/chatgpt/settings/
Make sure that ChatGPT is active at https://app.timelines.ai/chatgpt/settings/
Make sure the " Enable ChatGPT autoresponse" is ON within the chat details page.
Re-test the integration
