Zoho Integration: managing connection/s
To begin with the Timelines and Zoho CRM integration, you must establish a connection between Zoho and TimelinesAI.
TimelinesAI Zoho Integration has two kinds of connections:
- The Organization ( Master) Connection: required **for **any Zoho Integration feature.
- The Personal ( Individual) Connection: required only for Live WhatsApp Chat feature
Connect Zoho Organization
This connection is designed for Zoho organization owners and administrators. It establishes the primary link between Zoho and TimelinesAI and is responsible for ALL data exchange between the two platforms. To establish the organization connection:
- Login to TimelinesAI as workspace owner or administrator and open https://app.timelines.ai/integrations/zoho_crm/
- Click **Connect Zoho Organization **
- Follow on-screen authorization process
Connect Individual Zoho Account
To access Live WhatsApp Chat, each user in the organization must establish a personal connection between their individual Zoho account and their TimelinesAI account. The user who establishes the organization connection will have their individual connection set up automatically. All other users will need to establish their own personal connection separately:
- Join TimelinesAI workspace. Ask workspace administrator to invite you to their TimelinesAI workspace from https://app.timelines.ai/team/ OR you send a join request yourself. It is recommended to use the same email address as in your Zoho account
- Login to your TimelinesAI account and open https://app.timelines.ai/integrations/zoho_crm/
- Click Connect My Zoho
Disconnect
The Disconnect button allows you to terminate your integration with Zoho at any time. There are two types of Disconnect options:
- Disconnect Organization: This option terminates the main organization connection, which also disconnects all individual user connections within the organization. To restore the connection, all users will need to go through the connection process again from scratch. Disconnecting the organization will permanently disable all WhatsApp features for every team member, including:
- Record auto-creation
- Message synchronization
- Live WhatsApp chat
- Disconnect My Zoho: This option terminates the indivudual connection for the currently logged-in user only. To restore the connection, only this user needs to go through the reconnection process. The organization connection and connections established by other team members remain intact. The following features will continue to function ( since they rely on organization connection only): record auto-creation and Message synchronization. Following features will be disabled for the disconnected user:
- Live WhatsApp chat
