Chats that have not been read yet are always displayed in bold and appear at the top of the chat list, even if there are newer chats that have been read.

It's especially designed to ensure that you will not miss out on unread messages among the other chats, which were already opened and read.

Marking a Chat as Read

In TimelinesAI, you can mark a chat as Read, and it will be shown as read to all users in the workspace.

To mark a chat as read:

1. Hover your cursor over the chat you want to mark as read
2. In the floating menu on the right, click on the eye icon "Mark as read"
3. The chat will now be marked as read for all the team members in your workplace

Marking a Chat as Unread

1. Hover your cursor over the chat you want to mark as unread
2. In the floating menu on the right, click on the eye icon "Mark as unread"

If you mark a chat as "Unread", the chat will be displayed as unread to you only. However, all team members in your workspace will see it as Read.

Tip: Setting messages as "Unread" might be useful if you want to keep them as a reminder to handle them later.
