Setup

TimelinesAI allows to notify an external system when a new message is received or sent to any connected WhatsApp account in a workspace. This includes WhatsApp messages sent via WhatsApp Mobile App and/or from within TimelinesAI.

It’s often the case that such integration is used via some intermediary service such as Zapier, where each activation of a webhook counts towards task quota utilization.

To make the usage of tasks quota more efficient, TimelinesAI provides a possibility to aggregate multiple messages sent or received in a specific chat over the selected period of time. The messages are sent via the webhook as a single “bundle”. For your convenience, such “bundle” contains a field with the pre-formatted aggregation of messages (and a link to the section in conversations in TimelinesAI), but you can implement your own formatting using the data provided with the webhook.

TimelinesAI Public API

The Public API will allow you to send messages automatically on TimelinesAI, in response to a trigger/action from the systems that you currently use, like CRMs.

Getting Started:

To start working with the Public API, you'd need to access the "Integrations" section on TimelinesAI, which can be found on the left sidebar:

Once there, you'll be able to proceed and generate a token, by clicking on the "Generate New Token" button:

You may click on the generated token and it'll be copied to your clipboard, so you can paste it where you need it

Now that you have generated your API Token, you can use it within your system (CRM, Support and/or Recruitment systems, etc.) to integrate TimelinesAI and send automated messages over WhatsApp.

However, before proceeding, you can always test how it'd work with the help of our testing tool that we have available within the Public API section (by clicking on "Swagger"). This is a playground tool that will allow you to send messages depending on the request format that you select.

Overall Performance

You may refine the data that displays within this section, by referring to the options we have at the top.

Date Range: You'll be able to set the timeframe you want to review here. You may choose "Yesterday", "Last 7 or 30 Days"; "This or Last Month", and "Custom Range", which will allow you to select a specific date range.
Agent: Here you'll select a specific team member you want to review or, you may choose "All", if you want to check your entire team's performance.

You'll find within this section, a general view of your workspace(or team member's) statistics, based on the following indicators:

Messages Sent: The messages that your team/member has sent
Messages Read: Number of messages read by recipients, out of all messages sent during the period

Understand WhatsApp Terms of Service

WhatsApp has specific policies which prohibit users from:

sending unsolicited messages
sending illegal or impermissible communications
spamming
adding contacts to a group/s without their permission

Recall the activity preceding the ban and compare it to the Acceptable Use of Service to build your case:

What kind of messages have you tried to send?
Whom did you message?
How many messages have you sent?
Have you tried adding contacts to a group?

If everything generally aligns with WhatsApp's Acceptable Use of Service there should not be a problem with getting your account un-banned

Request WhatsApp to unblock your account

Open the WhatsApp application on your phone.
If you see the "Your phone number is banned from using WhatsApp. Contact support for help." message, tap on "Contact support."
In the contact form, describe your case clearly and politely. ||| Don’t mention using any 3rd party services or mass messaging practices. | Do mention that you believe the ban is a mistake. Include any details that support your case. For example, providing evidence of user consent to receive messages from you.

TimelinesAI allows you to set up a ChatGPT-powered auto-responder in your WhatsApp account without code or external automation tools!

You can tailor ChatGPT response to your needs, by providing instructions in plain language in prompt field. Use the default prompt as a basis and modify it as needed. You can supply some background information on your business and instruct ChatGPT to respond differently, depending on whether it is the first message in the WhatsApp conversation.

You can select whether to activate the auto-responder in specific WhatsApp chats, or to enable it in all new chats that are created, when you receive a message from a new contact or start a new conversation.

For each incoming message received in a chat, where ChatGPT auto-responder is enabled, TimelinesAI will automatically respond with a text, generated by ChatGPT.

How does it work?

We use ChatGPT gpt-3.5-turbo model with up to 4,096 tokens per single request (you can read more about tokens and pricing here). Up to 16 most recent WhatsApp messages in the conversation will be supplied together with the prompt, to allow for highly relevant and context-aware replies.

Most human languages are supported, however, the quality of response depends on the language and cannot be guaranteed. In addition, languages other than English may use significantly more tokens.
